What to do in March 2023 in Chandler & Gilbert & Phoenix

March is the perfect time to visit Arizona. The weather is beautiful, and there are so many things to do! We have everything from St. Patrick’s Day celebrations to outdoor free events and Festivals.

Here is my favorite list for March:

Beer, Bourbon, BBQ Festival March 3 @ Dr. A.J. Chandler Park – A new family-friendly festival is coming to Downtown Chandler, hosted by SanTan Brewing Company, Pedal Haus Brewery, and SanTan Spirits!

58th Annual Phoenix Scottish Games-Whisky Tasting – March 4-5 @ Gilbert Regional Park in Gilbert – You don’t need to be Scottish to enjoy the games featuring full highland
pageantry with Pipes & Drums, Highland Dancers, Athletics, Celtic bands, and Gathering of the Clans. As you move from area to area within the festival, you’ll be treated to a variety of live entertainment, interactive displays, and athletic events.

Chandler Ostrich Festival – March 11-13 @ Tumbleweed Park in Chandler – Beach Boys, Flo Rida, Nelly, and The Band Perry will perform during the two-weekend Chandler Ostrich Festival. There will also be more than 50 carnival rides and plenty of food vendors at Tumbleweed Park.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Faire – March 12 @ Margaret T. Hance Park – The 39th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Faire will take to the streets of downtown Phoenix at 10 a.m. before continuing the celebration with Irish music, bagpipers, and step dancing at Margaret T. Hance Park.

Gilbert Pizza Festival – March 19 at the Gilbert Civic Center in Gilbert, AZ – Enjoy local craft beer from Arizona Wilderness, wine, live music, lawn games from AZ Board Source, a kid’s zone with pizza-making crafts, and those unbeatable Arizona springtime vibes. Also, don’t miss our incredible dessert vendors!

KNIX Barbecue and Beer Festival – March 26 @ Tumbleweed Park in Chandler – This barbecue and beer festival promises to be “the ultimate rib fan’s paradise.” There will be 30 barbecue pit masters, kid-friendly activities and live music from country artists such as Lee Brice at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler.
